In a paper read before The National Association for the Study of Epilepsy Dr. Ernest Jones says (1) : " The customary concentration of attention on the more sensational aspects of epilepsy, namely, the fits, has, by furnishing a narrow conception of it, done much to retard our knowledge of the disease as a whole."
